The Men's Team at Rebounders is a USA-Gymnastics member club team for young men between the ages of 3 and 18. We foster relationships built on respect for peers, coaches, parents and environment. Our coaches and parents hope to instill in our athletes a group of values and life skills, the acquisition of which will result in the development of mature and responsible young adults. Our team strives to have fun at practice and in competition, while simultaneously maintaining the integrity of the greatest sport in the world.

WE ARE THE MEN'S TEAM AT REBOUNDERS!

HISTORY

In 1983 Mel Sanborn started the Rebounders USAG Boys Team. The boy's team competed locally and regionally until 1992 when the team was disbanded.  A small group of boys continued to train and compete locally in the Tumbling/Acro leagues.  In the Fall of 1996, the Rebounders boys team was revived by Scot Shaffer and continued to grow in number and skill over the next 4 years to include competitors from Class VII through Class III.  The boys team members have competed at local, state, regional, and national meets and traveled to New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Colorado, and California.  The Rebounders boys team also competes under USA Gymnastics levels 4 through 10 and has consistently sent members to Nationals since 2000.  The Boys Team also hosts an annual Designated Qualifying Meet for all Maryland competitors.
